Sep 16, 1928 - March 7, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Mary Opal Martin, 84, of Oklahoma City, was born September 16, 1928, in Haywood, OK, daughter of Ernest and Callie Hall. Opal rests in the arms of her savior, Jesus Christ, ready to meet her many loved ones preceding her in death, including her husband, Melton R. Martin. They were wed on May 26, 1951, in McAlester, OK. Opal was a homemaker and worked in the food services of Mid-Del Schools for many years. She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Cheatham and her husband Jim, Jean Ann Fraley and her husband Ken; and one son, Leon Martin and his wife Sheree; four granddaughters, Amy Russell, Amanda Davis, Alyssa Willson, and Samantha Martin; and four grandsons, Shannon, Adam, and Dennis Fraley; and Garrett Martin; and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at Barnes Friederich Funeral Home, with burial at Arlington Memory Gardens.
