KetchersidFeb 25, 1933 - June 2, 2012 BETHANY Mildred "Millie" Helen Ketchersid, 79, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 2, 2012, in Oklahoma City. She was born February 25, 1933, at Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, daughter of Jerome M. and Nona Ann (Mackey) Gonshor. She was a registered nurse, graduating from St. Anthony School of Nursing in 1955. She married Kenneth Allen Ketchersid on February 8, 1956, in Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Ketchersid; a sister, Mary Ann Chastain; and brothers, Robert, Martin and Jerome Gonshor. Survivors include her husband, Kenneth; a son, Michael Ketchersid and wife Susan of Yukon, OK; two daughters: Linda Clark and husband Bobby of Hendersonville, TN; and Karen West and husband Curtis of Edmond, OK; a brother, Joe Gonshor and wife Mary of Cyril, OK; six grandchildren, April Lumpkin, Jesse West, Joseph Whitmarsh, Cameron Clark, Dana Isreal and Sandy Evans; three great-grandchildren, Grace Lumpkin, Wade Lumpkin and Jordan Whitmarsh. Millie was known for having a vibrant sense of humor. Her nieces and nephews considered her like a mother to them. Viewing will be from 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012, at Mercer-Adams Funeral Service, with the family present from 5-7 p.m. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 5 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 8140 N.W. 36th, Bethany, OK.
