Oct 20, 1946 - Jan 5, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Gayle was born in Chickasha, OK to William P. & Erma Bryner and died in Oklahoma City. She was a lifelong hair stylist. She was appointed by Governors Walters and Keating to the Oklahoma Cosmetology Board, serving as Chair for one term. She served on the advisory board of the cosmetology program at Francis Tuttle. Gayle served as President of the Helen Cole Republican Women's Club 2002-2003, being named "Woman of the Year" from her club. She worked training dogs with the Oklahoma City Obedience Training Club as a hobby, starting in 2003 training her cocker spaniel, Bella, also competing in AKC and ASCA obedience events. For several years, she taught classes and served on the board of OCOTC, receiving two of the club's highest awards, the Isabel Graham Good Sportsmanship Award and the McCasland Award. She was preceded in death by her father; and her beloved Bella. She is survived by her mother; sister, Debbye Bryner; brother, Bill Bryner; niece, Angela Bryner; nephew, Jeff Bryner and his two children. Gayle will also be missed by a host of friends and colleagues. A Celebration of Life will be held January 28 at 3 p.m. at Tulakes Baptist Church, 6715 NW 50th, Bethany.
