Sept. 29, 1949 - April 03, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Loved by family and friends, Peggy Hawkins went to be with her Lord Jesus, April 03. She was born Sept. 29, 1949, to Glenn and Joan Danely in Enid, OK. The family moved to Oklahoma City in 1958 where she attended school, graduating in 1967 from NW Classen High School. Peggy lived for many years in Springdale, WA, with husband Earl Hawkins, who preceded her in death, her daughter Amy and her three children. The family moved to Oklahoma City in 2007 where she worked as Office Manager for Christian Counseling Associates. Passionate about her Lord, her family and her church, she loved to make people laugh and was always smiling. She will be greatly missed by her parents, daughter Amy and James Spencer, grandchildren Rena and Jermiah Knowles, Rachel Graham and Ryan Graham, sisters Patsy Burleigh, Kaye Wilson, Julie McAfee and their husbands and families, aunts Ginger Hitt and Frances Danely, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Memorial service will be at Hope Church, 30th & Meridian, OKC, Friday, April 12, at 10:30 a.m.
