REBA BUTLER Obituary
July 24, 1930 - Nov 15, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Reba, 82, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Nov. 15, 2012. Reba was born July 24, 1930, in Seminole County, OK to Cecil & Geneva Hamon. After graduating from Prairie Valley High School in 1948, Reba met the love of her life, Glen Eldon Butler, and they were later married on Oct. 14, 1949. Reba had a servant's heart. She dedicated her life to serving the Lord, providing a warm and loving home for her family and helping anyone in need. She and Glen are longtime members of First Baptist Church of Moore, where she taught Sunday School for over 50 years. Preceded in death by her parents, she leaves cherished memories with her loving husband of more than 63 years of marriage, Glen, of the home; sons, Jim Butler & wife Lawanda, and Randy Butler & wife Cheryl; daughter, Karla Marshall & husband Wes; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and countless other loving family and friends. She will always be in our hearts and forever missed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oklahoma Baptist Children's Home, 16301 S Western Ave, OKC, OK 73170. Viewing will 12-8 p.m. Sunday and 4-8 p.m. Monday at Vondel Smith Mortuary South Lakes, with the family greeting friends 6-8 p.m. Monday. Service to celebrate her life will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Moore, 301 NE 27th Street in Moore.
