EggelingApril 25, 1951 - July 23, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Bob Eggeling was born in Oklahoma City on April 25, 1951. On July 23, 2013 Bob passed away with his wife Cindy and daughter Stephanie by his side. A service to celebrate his life will be held Saturday, August 3, 2013, at 10 a.m. in the Capitol Hill High School Auditorium, 500 S.W. 36th Street, OKC. Bob was a jack of many trades and a master of quite a few. He was a teacher, mentor, coach and an advocate for children in the Oklahoma City Public School district for 40 years. He was a proud AFT member and was honored to be named the building rep. for 2008-2009. He was a lifetime member of Camp Fire USA; having served on the Board of Directors for many years. He was accomplished at machine embroidery and loved making clothes for his family and friends. Bob was a member of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, Myrtle Lodge #145 and India Shrine. His greatest accomplishment was his family. He was a wonderful husband and father. Bob was predeceased by his parents Alvin and Dorothy Eggeling and grandson Patrick Alvin Kneeland. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cindy; two daughters, Stephanie Eggeling, Valerie Kneeland and husband Camden; two grandchildren, Brodie and Lainey Kneeland; and a brother, Bill Eggeling and wife Georgia. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Capitol Hill Robotics Program. This program was a true passion for Bob. In addition to the general costs there are fees for each competition; and they are very expensive. Bob was always looking for ways to fund the program. A 501-C3 non-profit has been dedicated for donations celebrating Bob's life to go directly to the Capitol Hill Robotics team. Please send check's payable to: OKSEF, Attention Craig Shreve, 310 N. Cedar Street, Owasso, OK 74055. Indicate the purpose of your gift on the check or accompanying letter as: CAPITOL HILL HIGH SCHOOL FRC TEAM NUMBER 2461.
