Nov. 15, 1923 - Nov. 4, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Viola Jean Galegar, the younger of Alva Edison and Martha Viola Snodgrass' two daughters, was born Nov. 15, 1923 in Tulsa, OK and passed away Nov. 4, 2012 in OKC. She was married to her beloved husband, William Clark, for 64 years, before his passing on Dec. 10, 2011. They met at Oklahoma A&M, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and worked as head agricultural librarian. `Jean' devoted her life to family - being a loving wife and mother. She excelled in many talents taught and developed throughout life - including those as a seamstress, cook, artist, and all that goes with household management. Jean was steadfast in exhibiting the importance of high moral values, truthfulness, and Christian living. She leaves behind two daughters, Jeannine Lynn and Jan Hale, and their husbands; four grandchildren, Andrew, Melissa, Chris, and Alisha; as well as expected first great-grandchild, Lilly Elizabeth; and many others whose lives she touched.
