Albin L., age 83, of MWC, passed away January 27, 2004. He was born March 30, 1920 to Tom S. and Ferne (Haskett) Adams in Holdenville, OK. Albin was married to Ruth (Sikes) for 55 years. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII in 10th Armored Division 21st Tank Battalion where he received a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart. Albin attended the First Presbyterian Church of MWC. He enjoyed woodworking, the St. Louis Cardinals and being with his family. His son: John Adams, two sisters: Wynona Howard and Velma Harris preceded him in death. Albin is survived by his wife: Ruth of the home; one daughter: Anita Wallinger and her husband, A.J. Wallinger; two grandchildren: Tamara Wallinger and Mark Wallinger; two sisters: Kathleen Powell and Lola Atkins and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nursing staff and doctors of MWC Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 31, 2004 at Arlington Memory Gardens under the direction of Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home.
