Jan 10, 1921 - Feb 11, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Alice Louise (Rutledge) Becquart, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, died February 11, 2013. She was born January 10, 1921, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late Pete E and Jennie June (Fair) Rutledge. During World War 2, she worked at the Douglas Aircraft plant at Tinker Air Force Base. She was a riveter who worked on the training edge of the wing of C47 Cargo Planes. After the war, she married and worked as both bookkeeper and office manager in the family business, C & B Auto Pump Co. Alice was an outstanding china painter and a member of Heritage China Painters, Porcelain Art Guild, and World Organization of China Painters. She also traveled extensively with Fellowship Tours. She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Victor Becquart; her sister, Dorothy Jean (Rutledge) Ligon, of Austin, Texas; and her brother, Edward Rutledge, of Hurst, Texas. She is survived by her children, Bill Raymond Becquart, and Ben & Betty Louise (Becquart) Sanders; and her grandchildren, Bryan Scott Sanders, Matt & Jennifer Ann (Sanders) Jones - all of Oklahoma City. The memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the Sunny Lane Funeral Home Chapel.
