Aug 29, 1923 - Dec 20, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Audrey Edith Knoop Sullivan was born August 29, 1923, in Chicago IL, the daughter of Harry Arthur and Amanda Bertha (Samuel) Knoop. She completed this life on Thursday, December 20, 2012, at the age of 89. Audrey married William Joseph Sullivan on November 22, 1945, and he preceded her in death on August 8, 2008. They moved to Oklahoma City from Chicago in 1960, where she worked for a number of years as an insurance adjustor. They were active members of Messiah Lutheran Church. Audrey volunteered as a Red Cross bus driver for the handicapped, Boy Scout leader for the handicapped and was on the board of directors and Sunday school teacher in four churches for the handicapped. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Michael William Sullivan, in 2010; and her sister, Elaine Pearl Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Cronk, of High Ridge, MO; her grandchildren, Mary Beth Strifler (Rick), and Carrie Koehler (Glenn); her great-grandchildren, Joseph, Brandi, Audrey, Richard, Sarah and Elise; her niece, Linda Cook; and her nephews, John, Arthur and Harry Smith. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until 12 Noon Wednesday, December 26th at the Vondel Smith Mortuary North, 13125 N. MacArthur. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. in Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice, 4401 W Memorial Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73134.
