January 29, 1933 - March 19, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Born in Oklahoma City to Carl R. and Anna C. Grubb. Preceded in death by brother Curtis Grubb, sister Norma Philbrick and infant daughter Dannelle. A Veteran of the Korean War, active member of the VFW Post 1857. Worked 40 years in the refrigeration industry. Member of Plumbers and Pipe fitters Union. He was a hard working man and father figure to many. He was always there for anyone who needed him, a real "Hero". He loved to read, fish and watch his garden grow. He spent most of his time with family and friends. Survived by children: Carl Grubb, Angela Snider and husband Mike, Chris Grubb and Danette Kelly, grandchildren: Sarah, Rebeca, Vanessa Grubb of Pirmasens, Germany, Kasey Nickel, Kalen Kidd, Aaron Snider, Heather Grubb, Tina Meeks, Levi Kelly, Ayiacna Kelly and 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was loved by many. He may be gone but he will not be forgotten. Memorial service 2pm Friday at OKC Cremation & Mortuary.
