She was known by her warmth and kindness to all who had the pleasure of being in her presence. Though your smile may be gone from us and your loving hands we cannot touch, we have such wonderful memories of you, Mom who meant to us so much! Your memory is our keepsake of which we'll never part, God holds you now in His keeping, we hold you in our hearts. A long time member of First Baptist Church of Choctaw, she enjoyed many activities while her health permitted. She delighted in cooking, telling stories from days long ago and visiting with her many friends. God saw that you were tired and opened up his loving arms to welcome you home. Heaven is brighter today with the addition of one of God's shining examples. She is survived by 3 daughters: Billie Cerne of Shawnee, Sue Gray of Choctaw, Shirley Geerts & husband, Dennis of Garland, TX; 5 grandchildren: Bill Anderson, Victor Cerne & wife Cindy, Cindy Garman & husband Ron, Greg Geerts & Jeff Geerts; 8 great-grandchildren: Justin Cerne, Molly Cerne, James Hocker, Briton Garman, Deshia Garman, Matthew Garman, Tiffany Garman & Brent Garman; 3 great great grandchildren: Rachel Hocker, Woody & Zella Garman.
