Frank Pybas Obituary

Frank L. Pybas, 88, passed away Friday, October 9, 2009, in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was born December 18, 1920 in Blanchard, OK to John and Myrtle (Hendrix) Pybas. Frank served his country in the Army Air Corps and was employed with Tinker Air Force Base as a Traffic Management Specialist until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and traveling with his family. He was a faithful member at Rancho Village Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon and a greeter. He is survived by his wife, Martha Pybas; two sons: Jerry Pybas and wife, Monica; and Warren Pybas and wife, Dawnellen; one sister, LaMoyne Brooks, and husband, George; six grandchildren: Mike Pybas and wife, Debbie; Adam, Molly, and Allie Pybas; Angela Lee and husband, Jason; and Justin Pybas and wife, Lisa; and four great-grandchildren: Shelby and Shane Pybas, and Andrew and Noah Lee. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers; sisters; and one grandchild, Eric Shane Pybas. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, 3800 N. May, Oklahoma City, OK 73112-6506. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with the family receiving guests from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at Rancho Village Baptist Church, with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. Frank was a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law and Pa-Pa and he will be missed immensely by all who knew him.
