Aug 13, 1931 - Nov 28, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY George Robert Cullum, Sr. was born August 13, 1931, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He died Thursday, November 28 in Oklahoma City. Following his proud, dedicated service to his country through the United States Air Force, George retired after receiving the Bronze Star. Upon retiring from the military, he opened and operated his own business as an electronic technician for more than 30 years. Along with this, he also flew as a corporate pilot as well as recreationally. George enjoyed many things in life: his family, church, racing Go Karts, and his Dallas and Oklahoma State Cowboys. Mr. Cullum is survived by his wife of more than 28 years, Berneda Cullum; children, George R. Cullum, Jr., Steve W. Cullum, Jimmy Cullum, Rodney Crist and wife Tawna, and Jeri McCarty and husband Chris; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services celebrating George's life will be at 2 p.m. Monday, December 2, 2013, at the Westside Christian Church, 10145 NW Expressway, Yukon, OK, under the direction of Crawford Family Funeral Service, Edmond.
