Oct. 16, 1925 - Nov. 11, 2012 DEL CITY Hazel Pearl Burke, 87, of Cartersville, GA, formerly of Del City, OK, passed away November 11, 2012. She was born October 16, 1925 in Covington, OK to Henry and Mary Pearl (Myers) Forshee. Hazel graduated from Durant High School and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. with 30 years of service, and worked part time for the Oklahoma Agriculture Department and Volunteered at South Community Hospital for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Burke and daughter Pam Brantley of Midwest City. Hazel is survived by one daughter: Sue and husband Bill Mitchell, of Cartersville, GA; two sons: Richard Don and wife Carolyn Stafford of Moore, OK, Jerry and wife Wanda Stafford of Midwest City, OK; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and one brother: Vernon and wife Betty Forshee. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 16, 2012, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel, Del City, Oklahoma with interment to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma.
