November 4, 2011 - December 3, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Henry Nelson McBride left this world on Monday, December 3, 2012. During his thirteen months on Earth, our sweet boy made a lifetime of memories for those who loved him. He laughed like a chipmunk, ate like a horse, and loved his big sister Lucy more than anyone in the world. The hole in our hearts will be shaped like his signature cowlick and generous belly. We wouldn't trade one year with Henry for a lifetime with anyone else. Henry was born on November 4, 2011, at Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City. He loved bike rides with his Daddy and big sister, puppies, and dancing - especially with his Mama. He was easy to befriend, and would light up whenever someone who loved him walked into the room - there are many of us. Henry loved the days he spent with his friends and teachers at The Learning Center at Nichols Hills UMC.We can't know the details of Heaven - but we like to imagine it for Henry with unlimited scrambled eggs, full access to the buttons on the remote control, and constant knowledge that he is deeply and truly loved.Henry is survived by his parents, Mark and Molly McBride, and the "big sister in the whole world," Lucy McBride. He will be deeply missed by his grandparents, Nelson and Carla Pickrell of Oklahoma City, and Bob and Shirley McBride of Tuttle; aunt, Lori Pickrell; and aunt, Audra Ball and her husband Matt. A full list of those who adored him would be impossible.A memorial service will be held at 11AM on Friday, December 7, at St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City. There will be a visitation time for family and friends at Hahn-Cook Funeral Home at 6600 Broadway Extension, Thursday Evening from 6 to 8 p.m.Memorials may be made to: Oklahoma City Community Foundation for the Henry Nelson McBride Memorial Fund, P.O.
