March 12, 1917 - Nov 4, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Jack K. Wells, Jr., 95, was born on March 12, 1917, in Oklahoma City and passed away peacefully on November 4, 2012. Jack is survived by his son, Jack K. Wells III, and his wife, Debbie, of Edmond, OK; granddaughter, Michelle Colon, and her husband, Delano, and great grandchildren, McKenzie and Nathan Colon, Oklahoma City; grandson, Jack K. Wells IV, and his wife, Candi, and great-grandchildren, Jaycee, Jenkins and Jack K. Wells V, of Oklahoma City. He lived in California and Washington State and graduated from Enid High School. He attended Mortuary School and became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. In 1940, he was employed by Smith & Kernke and worked with them for many years. In 1978, he and his wife Pauline retired to Lake Tenkiller. They lived there until Pauline passed away in 2003. Jack served in the U.S. Air Corps during WWII. At Jack's request, there will not be a funeral service. Jack's cremated remains will be placed in Rose Hill Mausoleum beside his Mother, Father, wife Pauline and his grandson, Rocky.
