Dec 1, 1935 - Jan 4, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY F. James (Jim) McWilliams was born in Los Angeles, CA. He enlisted in the Coast Guard in 1953 and served four years. Jim moved to Oklahoma City in 1977 while working for the IRS and retired in 1982. Jim started his own CPA tax practice in 1983. Numerous clients have remained with him from the 1980s until his death. He loved helping clients work out their tax difficulties and became their friend. He loved volunteer work with Mobile Meals, enjoyed golfing and especially playing golf with his up and coming golf pro grandson, Weston. Jim attended church faithfully and loved his church family. He loved and was loved by his family and friends. Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years, Marie Ellen; daughter, Phyllis Canterbury; grandsons, Wayne and Weston Canterbury; sister, Pat Craghead; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, 13112 N. Rockwell Ave., on Thursday, January 31 at 11 a.m.
