Not sure what to say?

Ron and Vikki,

I have such fond memories of Mr. Norick. He was one of the closest friends of my mother, Christine and Clark. He was Clark's best man when he married my mother and that is a label which fit him thereafter. Enjoy the memories, as I shall.

Ron and Vicki, on behalf of myself and the rest of my family let me say how very sorry I was to hear of the passing of your Dad. He and your mother were very special to my late husband Bab. He would not of thought of coming to Oklahoma City without seeing or speaking to them. He especially loved his phone calls and talks with your Dad about family history. It is some comfort to know that now they will be in a place where they can share often. Again our deepest condolences Carol Schaefer and family

My Dad, Wilson Meek, worked for Mr. Norick and only had good things to say about him. Ron Norick attended my Dad's funeral in November and was kind enough to say a few words. My sincere condolences to the entire Norick family. He was an extraordinary man and will be missed by many.

Uncle Jim, you were my favorite and only uncle in the Norick family. I always loved your class act ways and how you always dressed with dignity! I will miss you, just as I miss Mom, and Aunt Marge and Fran....along with GaGa and GP. You will always be in my heart. Love, Kristina

I really enjoyed visiting with him a couple of years ago when he attended the Glenn Miller Orchestra concert that I promoted. If I remember correctly, he played in a big band led by Tex Beneke while in the service during WWII. He was a man of many talents and I am sure he will be missed.

I'll always remember as a young kid the quail hunting trips I went on with my Dad Ronnie Doll, Jim Norick and Andy Anderson. On those trips, Jim was always the "Best Dressed" man in the northwest part of the state. Those were some very special times in a kids life and Jim made them even more special because HE was so special. A "One of a Kind", truly wonderful Gentleman.

We are long-time Oklahoma City residents and are so proud of the Norick legacy. We often saw Mayor Norick during our "Friday night" date at Olive Garden, and loved to hear his stories. We are saddened by this loss, but wish peace and comfort to the family. Mayor Norick lived such a full life of service to our country and our city.
