May 31, 1976 - June 20, 2013 DEL CITY Jeremy "Phoon" Wade Ring, age 37, of Del City, OK, passed away on June 20, 2013. He was born on May 31, 1976, in Oklahoma City, OK to Paul D. Ring, Sr. and Anna Ring. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, serving two tours in Iraq as a Captain. He was awarded numerous medals, but the one he was most proud of was the Bronze Star Medal. Jeremy received a Master's degree in social work from the University of Oklahoma. He worked at Tinker Air Force Base as a Civil Servant. Jeremy loved his son, Kaden, and his family deeply and had a large network of friends. He went by the nickname "Phoon," as in typhoon. He was an overall sports person and enjoyed OU football and Thunder basketball. Jeremy is survived by his mother, Anna Ring; his son, Kaden; brothers, Mark Ring and Dewayne Ring and his wife Leah; grandmother, Pauline Davis; and numerous other family members and friends. A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 24, 2013, at Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel in Del City.
