John G. Campbell, MD, 68, of Tulsa, passed away, Saturday, December 6, 2008. Born June 13, 1940 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late G. Raymond and Mary Marjorie (Gooch) Campbell. Graduate of Warren G. Harding High School in Oklahoma City. Dr. Campbell served in the US Air Force as a Surgeon. He was a 1966 Graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Medicine. He was a practicing Otolaryngologist for 30 years in Tulsa. He served as President of the Oklahoma Academy of Otolaryngology, President of American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, The Tulsa Otolaryngology Society and the Tulsa Surgical Society as well as serving on the Boards of Trustees of the Tulsa Community College. His alma mater was Westminster College of MO where he served on the Board of Trustees. His church was First Presbyterian of Tulsa where he served as an Elder and Trustee. Dr. Campbell is survived by his wife, Linda, of the home son, Darin Philip Ramey of Tulsa four grandchildren, Hunter, Zachary, Samuel and Lily Ramey two sisters, Martha Keith of Oklahoma City and Mary Holecek and husband, Russell of Boulder, CO nieces and nephew, Darcie Garza, Lacy Keith, John and Amy Holecek. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 12, 2008, 11 AM, First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa.
