Rhoades Hogard June 5, 1918 - Jan 20, 2013 MIDWEST CITY "Our family is a circle of strength and love. With every birth and every union, the circle grows. Every joy shared adds more love. Every crisis faced together makes the circle stronger." For 94 years, June Evelyn Rhoades Hogard was the center of our circle. Born June 5, 1918, to Charles and Maude Sears, June was one of 11 children. She is survived by her sister, Helen Linn, of Nebraska. In 1939, June married Glen Rhoades (d.1968). They had three children: Nancy Jo (m. Jerry Lloyd, d.1978), David (m. Kaye), and Colleen (m. Larry Park). June also had seven grandchildren: Jay Lloyd (d.1962), Joe Lloyd (m. Diana), Julie Lloyd Atkinson (m. Doug), Jayson Lloyd (m. Denise), Jami Rhoades Antonisse (m. Richard), Justin Park (m. Heather), and Jordan Park; eight great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. In 1973, June married Bert Hogard (d.2000) and welcomed his family as her own. Family gatherings provided June with a large audience for new recipes, beautifully decorated cakes, and LOTS of card games. On January 20, 2013, our circle got smaller with June's passing, but it remains unbroken. We will remember June on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, 3 p.m. at Ford Funeral Service, and always.
