May 3, 1935 - May 2, 2012 EDMOND Lee F. Smith, age 76, of Edmond, OK, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Lee was born in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, to Clifford W. & Helen Smith. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, where he met his loving wife of 53 years, Lorna McLeod. They were married on December 31, 1958, and had four wonderful children. In 1972, they moved their family from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, to Edmond, Oklahoma. Lee's entrepreneurial spirit and community involvement led him into the lives of many close friends that will miss him dearly. Lee truly loved the Episcopal Church and was instrumental in the construction of St. Mary's School and the beautiful East Garden at St. Paul's Cathedral. He was passionate about golf and over the last eight years, became a fixture working at Kickingbird Golf Course. His dedication and work ethic was greatly appreciated by his Kickingbird family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jacqueline; and son, Lane. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorna; daughters, Lori Cole (Steve), Lisa Cox; son, Lance (Amanda); grandchildren: Nathan, Katie and Emily Cole; Colby Cox; Hailey and Trent Smith. Services celebrating Lee's life will be held Wednesday, May 9th at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Cathedral in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to St. Mary's Episcopal School in Edmond or St. Paul's Cathedral in Oklahoma City.
