Lenora A. Berry Cate

Lenora A. Berry, 81, of OKC died June 16, 2003. She was born Jan 12, 1922 in Vamoosa, OK to John and Gracia Berry. She worked as a statistical clerk/ secretary at Tinker Air Force Base, and later owned her own beauty salon. A member of Cherokee Hills Church of Christ, she was a compassionate and truthful friend, a very talented artist who loved painting on china, and unconditional loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Lenora was always faithful to be there when you needed her most, She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, George Cate, 1, sister and 2 brothers. Lenora is survived by her 2 daughters; Anita Bryant Dry and her husband, Charlie of OKC; Sandra Page and husband Sam, of Marshall, TX. 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren: Kathy Page Odom, husband Joe and son, Garrett, of Tulsa; Robert Green, Jr. and wife, Melissa, and children Sarah and Henry William of Evanston, IL; Lisa Page Willard and, husband, Randy, and daughters Mikayle and Hallie of Tulsa, OK; Gloria Green Sitarz, husband Bud, and children, Christian, Alec, Elisa and Lauren of London, England; Michelle Page Eitel, husband Pat, daughters Brittany and Heather of Marshall, TX; Billy Green of Miami, FL; Barbara Green Hughes and husband, Dr. Bill, of Fayetteville, TN. Also surviving her are her sisters Gola Mae Fleming of Bridgeport, TX; Betty Rae Callen, and husband, Bob of Tishomingo, OK; and her sister in law Marie Berry of Moore, OK and her aunt Oleta Deatherage of OKC. Graveside service will be 10:00 am Thursday, June 19 at Arlington Memory Gardens followed by a memorial service at 11:30 am at Cherokee Hills Church of Christ.
