Passionate for both the fine and performing arts, Lucy was a long-time supporter of the Tulsa Philharmonic and Tulsa Opera as well as serving as a docent at the Philbrook and Gilcrease museums. She was also an avid horticulturalist and gardener. Lucy's penchant for genealogy led her to an active role within the Daughter's of the American Revolution (DAR). In addition, she was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith. She was involved in many Catholic organizations, including membership in the Knights of Malta and the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher. She was a supporter of St. Joseph Parish and School in Muskogee, Oklahoma.
