M. Beatrice. Bea was born to Dennis and Melissa Briggs in El Reno, Oklahoma on January 16, 1912. She graduated from Sacred Heart Academy Catholic School in El Reno, Oklahoma where she learned to play the piano and organ, serving as the organist and choir director for church services. Throughout her life she continued to play the piano and organ entertaining her friends and family. After high school she attended Hills Business College in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and upon completion of her study worked in downtown Oklahoma City in the Ramsey Tower. She soon met the love of her life, R. G. Adler, and they were married. After her husband passed the C.P.A. exam, together they established and developed an accounting practice. She was the only secretary he ever had and they worked together successfully for 50 years. Her husband preceded her in death in 1995. Bea and her husband, known to friends as 'Ad' loved to travel. Each summer during her children's childhood they took family car trips, covering most states from California to Maine and Florida. In later years they traveled the world together and took several cruises with their children and spouses. Bea had a radiant spirit and was loved by all who were fortunate enough to meet her. She will be missed but will remain as sweet memories for her friends and family. She is survived by her three (3) sons, R. Ken Adler of Port Arthur, Texas, Don A. Adler of Lufkin, Texas and S.
