March 3, 1937 - February 18, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Martha Lee Lockhart, 75, passed away on February 18, 2013. She was born on March 3, 1937 in Big Creek, Mississippi to Albert Kelvin and Ethel Lavon (Moore) Hamilton. Martha married Byron Lockhart, on May 10, 1952 in Mississippi and became a U.S. Army wife. Together Martha, Byron and their three children, traveled all over the U.S. and Europe, living in MS, TX, GA, OK, Italy and Germany. She was a faithful and dedicated servant of her Lord and member of the Church of Christ for over 50 years. Martha enjoyed crocheting, tending to her rose bushes. Famous for her sweet potato pie and if you ever had her cornbread, it was made all these years in the same cast iron skillet. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Byron; and nine siblings. Survivors include her children, Gina Lockhart, Gary Lockhart and Greg Lockhart and wife Deborah; grandchildren, Kristy Boone, Jennifer Parker and husband Ryan, Melissa Wilks, Jeff Lockhart; and one great-granddaughter, Sarah Boone. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
