Maude Harper

Maude "Vickie" M. Harper, 84, was born May 15, 1925 in Westfield Township, Pa. to Martin and Francis Bolich-Burdick. She left this life on January 21, 2010 to be with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior. Vickie married Oron E. Harper, Sr. on September 17, 1945, together they had six children, one son and five daughters. Vickie was a loving wife and mother, a homemaker, accomplished seam- stress and gourmet cook. She will always be remembered for her strong love for her family, loving spirit, good sense of humor and the many friendships she treasured throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her parents Martin and Francis Burdick, her dear in-laws John and Emma Kinzel, Aunt Chloe and Oscar Paul, brothers-in-law Clifford Harper, Donald Bailey and Robert Gross and nephew Bill Harper. She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, 4 months, and 4 days Oron E. Harper; sisters-in-law Deloris Gross and Ruth Harper; six loving children, Gayle Dick and husband Robert, Oron Harper, Jr. and wife Charlene, Janet Bolton and husband Larry, Patricia Mueller and husband Darrell, Deborah Hart and husband Patrick, Lisa Shaw and husband Jeff; 21 wonderful grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 4 nieces and many great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday January 30, 2010 at United Methodist Church of the Good Sheperd, 10928 SW 15 Street Yukon, OK with burial at Mustang Cemetery. The family has requested in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Suite 800 Washington, DC 20004.
