McDaid Nov 5, 1990 - Nov 13, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Michael Damian McDaid, 22, of Oklahoma City, died November 13, 2012, as a result of a brain aneurysm. He was born November 5, 1990, in Oklahoma, the loving son of Alison M. (McDaid) Schoonover and Claude L. Jackson, Jr. He attended Putnam City schools and graduated from Putnam City Original in 2010, where he was a member of the football team. He was currently enrolled at Francis Tuttle Vo-Tech in the Automotive Program and was soon to begin a new position with UPS. Michael was a member of the Epiphany of the Lord Catholic parish and was active in the Catholic Youth Group before high school graduation and the Catholic Men's Club at his parish. Riding horses was his passion, and he aspired to be a professional Calf Roper and an auto mechanic. Michael is survived by his loving parents, Alison M. McDaid Schoonover and spouse, from Oklahoma; and Claude L. Jackson, Jr. and spouse, from Iowa; his siblings, Anthony, CJ and sister Frances; and his half-sisters, Latricia and Miranda. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Grandma Geri Moreno and Grandpa Robert Moreno, of Cheyenne, WY; and his paternal grandparents, Grandma Kay and Grandpa Jimmie, of Spencer, OK. He is also survived by his maternal aunts and uncles: Suzanne and Pablo Juarez, of San Antonio, and three sons; Katherine and Jeff Castaneda, of Cheyenne, and two children; Roman Moreno, of Hawaii, and children; his paternal aunts and uncles, of Oklahoma: Ron and Patty Johnson and three children; LaDonna Jackson; Lucy Carol Jackson and two sons; Bryant Jackson and Carrie Van Dyke and three children; and his close friends and host of great-aunts and great-uncles from Oklahoma, Nebraska, California and Nevada; along with countless cousins throughout the United States. The entire family will love and miss him always. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Demuth Funeral Home at 1145 West Britton Road, Oklahoma City, OK. Viewing hours will be on Saturday and Sunday, November 17 and 18, 2012, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m at the funeral home. The Wake service will be held on Sunday, November 18 at 7 p.m. at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church, located at 7336 West Britton Road, Oklahoma City, OK, followed by a Rosary service. The funeral service will also be held at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church on Monday, November 19, 2012, at 2 p.m., followed by a graveside service at Rose Hill Burial Park, Oklahoma City, OK, and then a reception at the church. Flowers can be delivered to the church at 7336 West Britton Road, Oklahoma City, OK 73132, and donations can be made through Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church to assist the family with burial expenses; any donations remaining after expenses are paid will be donated in Michael's name to the family's .
