Sept 8, 1932 - June 14, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Patricia Jo McCall Adams passed away in her home on June 14, 2012, after a brave battle with cancer. Patricia was born to Bess and Marion McCall on September 8, 1932, in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. She graduated from Oklahoma State University, where she was a proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority. Patricia was a Redskin Beauty while at Oklahoma State University. Patricia is survived by her husband of 59 years, Homer Adams; two children and their spouses: Debby and Alan Turnbow of The Woodlands, TX; and Chip and Karri Adams of Edmond, OK; her four grandchildren: Erin Turnbow of Houston, TX; Ryan Turnbow of Houston, TX; Alexandria Adams of Edmond, OK; and Tyler Adams of Edmond, OK. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, who taught her family to follow their dreams, just as she did hers. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Keith McCall; and her nephew, K.C. McCall. Patricia had a dream to travel the world. She fulfilled this dream by traveling to all seven continents. Patricia cheered on her beloved OSU Cowboys from near and afar and was happy that she lived to see an OSU BCS game victory this year. Patricia also enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and doing crossword puzzles. Services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Memorial Park Historic Cemetery Chapel.
