March 2, 1929 - Oct 31, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Patricia Rayburn passed away on Oct. 31, 2012, after an extended illness. "Grandma Pat" loved the holidays -- Christmas, Thanksgiving, birthdays, Easter, it didn't matter -- so it was appropriate that she chose Halloween to ascend into Heaven. Born on March 2, 1929, Pat was preceded in death by her mother, Florence "Cookie" Oles. She will be remembered as a loving den mother, home room mother, head of the Burbank Bumblebees parent association and proud supporter of her granddaughters' athletic, dance and academic accomplishments. Pat cherished children, animals, and her family. Her meticulously-wrapped Christmas and birthday presents will be a source of conversation for years. She is survived by her sons, Scott and wife Janet, Jack and wife Pat, Jim and wife Kim; granddaughters, Anna and husband Dustin Simmons, Lacey and Brooke Rayburn, Taylor and husband Collin Hoover, Alex and fiance Andy Broussard; great-grandson, Nash Simmons; and her greatest caregiver, Jack Rayburn, Sr. A Viewing will be held 1-5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, with the family present from 3-5 p.m., at Smith & Kernke, N. May. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at Christ the King Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the
