June 4, 1919 - Nov 3, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Roy Ellinwood Dosser, 93, formerly of Tulsa, passed away in Oklahoma City Saturday, November 3, 2012. He was born in Seiling, OK, later moving to Garber, OK, where he attended public school, was captain of his high school football team and worked in the town's butcher shop part time. After graduating from Oklahoma State University with a degree in Chemical Engineering, he began working for Sinclair Oil and Gas Co., which later merged with Atlantic Richfield Co. Returning to the oil business after honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy during WWII, he met and married Elwynna Quaid in 1947. They had four children who survive him: Dr. John R. Dosser and wife Kay, Oklahoma City; Dr. Mary Dosser Kilpatrick, Austin TX; Susan Dosser Ellis and husband Brian, Oklahoma City; and David G. Dosser and wife Colleen, Tulsa, OK. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Following Elwynna's death in 1994, Roy married Luanda Montgomery and continued his life in Tulsa until her death in 2004. He is survived by her children: Susan McGee and husband Carl, Clifton, TX; and Linda Brown (deceased) and husband Mike, Stillwater, OK. He also is survived by his nine step-grandchildren and numerous step-great-grandchildren. Roy moved to Oklahoma City in 2005, where he lived until his death from a short illness. In Oklahoma City, he enjoyed his family night meals and games with his extended family as well as college sports. He was an amazing, caring, witty, kind, loving, easygoing man and will be so missed by those of us who loved him. Private family service with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, OK.
