Roy Glidden Obituary

November 17, 1923 - June 27, 2011 NORMAN Roy Don Glidden passed away June 27, 2011. He was born November 17, 1923 in Chippewa Falls, WI. He is preceded in death by his wife Selma; son Gregory; and sister Gerry. He is survived by his son Jeffrey Glidden and Debra; daughter Mary Glidden Luther and Ross; grandchildren Lori, Brad, Sunny, Beau, Crystal, Chris, and Carrie; great-grandchildren Fisher, Grady, Georgia, Ava Rose, Cody, Kade, and Makensie; sisters Eileen, Ruth, Chris, Fran, and Bonnie; daughter-in-law Linda Glidden Stewart; a dear family friend Norma Miller; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. Roy was a WWII Veteran. He enjoyed farming and raising cattle. He loved being with his family. Services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 1, 2011, at John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Robinson Fairview Cemetery.
