Ruth V. Kamas Albert peacefully entered the Kingdom of Heaven on February 7, 2010. Ruth was born on May 21, 1922 in Wichita, KS to AC & Ocie Addis. She was the eldest of 5 children. She married Richard Kamas and moved to Knowles, OK. To this union two sons were born, and they were her greatest gifts. After the death of her husband, Richard, she moved to Midwest City, OK, where she lovingly raised her sons with the devoted support of her late husband, Dick Albert, and her extended family. Her faith in God and strong will guided her daily walk. Her unconditional love was not only a blessing to her family but to all she knew. Ruth's positive outlook and favorite words, kind, cheerful, and delightful, exemplify her life. Her home was open to all, filled with laughter, good food and gracious hospitality. Her brothers, Jack and Don Addis, preceded her in death. She is survived by her sons, James R. Kamas and Sam C. Kamas; daughter-in-law, Donna, and her children: Jarod and wife Leisha Gonzalez and their children, Jackson and Jamison; Bonner and Megan Gonzalez and their daughter, Milan; granddaughter, Samantha Tucker; sister and brother-in-law, Cherry and Nick Harroz, Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Ed Jabara; and many nieces and nephews. Jim and Sam would like to thank their precious family, many friends, and caregiver, Olga, for all of their love and support. The family will receive friends at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, 6600 Broadway Ext., Monday, February 8th, from 5-7 p.m. Services will be at 2 pm, Tuesday, February 9th, St. Elijah Orthodox Christian Church, 15000 North May Avenue, Oklahoma City, OK. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Flowers That Do Not Wither Fund at St Elijah.
