Nov 25, 1936 - Jan 30, 2014 NORMAN Jack Rae Taylor, 77, of Norman, Oklahoma, was born on November 25, 1936, to Charles McRae and Ruby Mae Taylor in Sullivan, Indiana. Jack passed away on January 30, 2014, at his home. Jack was united in marriage to JoAnn Harlow in 1956, and they were blessed with two children, Kevin and Tami. Jack graduated from Rose Hulman Institute of Technology with a degree in engineering. He worked for Star Building Systems for 37 years, starting as an Assistant Chief Engineer and retiring in 2003 as President. He was a man of integrity and had a heart for helping others. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, JoAnn; and one sister, Donna Clingerman. Jack leaves to cherish his memory his son, Kevin Taylor and wife Tina, of Corinth, Texas; his daughter, Tami Bramel and husband Stan, of Edmond, Oklahoma; three grandchildren: Kasey Taylor of Corinth, Texas; Kelsey Taylor, of Irving, Texas; and Keven Taylor, of Addision, Texas; one great-grandchild, Ryan Bianchetti Taylor; and his niece, Kimberly Clingerman, of Greenwood, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Life Change Academy, 4509 Tamarisk Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73142; or Britton Christian Church, 922 NW 91st St, Oklahoma City, OK 73114. Visitation for Jack will be 12-8 p.m. on Monday, February 3, 2014, with family receiving friends at 6-8 p.m. A celebration of his life will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at the Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Norman, with interment following at the Warren Cemetery, in Norman.
