Dear Dottie & family: We were so saddened to read about Walter's death. He was such a nice, well-liked man.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of your joyful times together, as you celebrate a life well lived !

Dearest Susan if we were to ask ourselves which person in our lives meant the most to us? I bet we would have to say that it was that person who at trying times, instead of giving unsolicited advice or solutions chose to instead share our pain and touch our wounds with a warm and tender hand.

Someone who could be silent with us in a moment of despair or confusion, who was always there for us no matter the situation and stayed with us in an hour of heartbreak or grief and tolerated not knowing or not healing and who instead joined us in facing the reality of our powerlessness… that was not just a Dad, a Father but a loving friend who cared.

Walter brought so many gifts to people’s lives. Everything he did in Oklahoma and his tremendous legacy will forever speak loudly.

As sad as it may be we share comfort in knowing Walter is no longer suffering. We send our thoughts of sympathy and support to you and your family as you all begin your journey without him.

May your hearts and souls find peace and comfort.

Love always Dr. Tom and Scott.
