Robert (Bob) John Morgan, of Edmond, passed away June 27, 2010 at the age of 79. Bob was born March 22, 1931 in Blackwell, OK to Wayne and Eleanora Morgan. He graduated from Marquette HS in Tulsa where he lettered in basketball and football. It was there, he met the love of his life, Patricia Ann Pottier, and many lifelong friends. He attended Oklahoma A&M and Tulsa University. On Sept. 1, 1951, he married Pat. Always independent, he moved to Oklahoma City and founded Oklahoma Steel Sales in 1956 and later Specialty Metal Products Co. Bob loved golf and gin rummy with his friends at Oak Tree Golf Club where he was an original member. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia; and sister, Mary Jane O'Malley. Survivors include his children, John & Leslie Morgan, OKC, Jeanne & Louis Robinson, Norman, Janie Morgan, OKC, Jim & Barbara Morgan, Edmond, Jeff & Elizabeth Morgan, Atlanta, GA; 9 grandchildren; brother, Michael Morgan, Norfolk, VA. Visitation will be at Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond on June 30 from 9am-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Thursday, July 1, at St. Monica's Catholic Church, Edmond, with interment following at Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. John the Baptist Church, Edmond or Catholic Charities.
