Hubert A. (Derb) Foster was born Oct. 19, 1925 in Cement, OK and died Nov. 5, 2010, at the age of 85. A longtime resident of McLoud, OK, Hubert served in the Navy during World War II, retired from Tinker AFB and served McLoud as Assistant Chief of Police. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert Leo Foster; and his mother, Alia Mae Foster. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Barbara Foster; four children: daughter, Sheila Huggins and husband, Jack, Midwest City; daughter, Cheryl Bumblis, Fairfax, Virginia; son, James Foster, Choctaw; son, Steven Foster and wife, Paula, Oklahoma City; and sister, June Learned, Pebble Beach, CA. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends too numerous to mention. He will be missed greatly.
