Howard W. Koester, AKA OWH, was born 11-18-1946. On 11-26-2010 he passed away at 64 years of age. He was preceded in death by his parents, EW & Wanda Koester. He is survived by his loving companion, Debbie Foster & son, Caleb Foster and her immediate family; two brothers, Herschel Koester and Jerry Koester & family. He graduated from Putnam City (The Original) in 1965 and soon served with the Oklahoma National Guard. His love for motorcycles and racing (of any kind) far exceeded anything else. He was on one of his bikes year round. He started work in his early teens and most of his life he was an accomplished machinist, master mechanic, and teacher to all. He could repair anything and fabricate everything. He was known for his kindness & generosity to all that knew him. There was never a dull moment when with OWH. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. We love you. A celebration of OWH's life will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, 12-3-2010, at the Bill Merritt Memorial Chapel.
