Glenn Gail McCormick was born to Rosa Lee Bast and John Edward McCormick in Duncan, Oklahoma, February 11, 1920. Glenn worked for many years and retired as a sheet metal worker/ heat and air conditioning technician He willingly and honorably served his country during WWII as a member of the 45th Infantry Division-179th Infantry Regiment. After his term of military service he met and married the love of his life, Kathryn Stathos on Dec. 29, 1945. Glenn and Kathryn had many happy years together before she preceded him in death, March 23, 2001. Friends and family will always remember his ability to fix anything, "his way", his fondness for having morning coffee with his pals while checking on everyone's business and bragging about his casino excursions, his hospitality, and special wave to his neighbors who meant so much to him. Glenn rejoined his beloved wife Kathryn on Feb. 12, 2011. He is survived by his sister Nadine Petrauskas, Piedmont, five nieces and nephews, and numerous great and great great nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10 A.M., Friday, February 18, 2011, at the Eisenhour Chapel, Blanchard. Bro. Ronny Wilson will officiate with interment held in the Chapel Hill Cemetery, Oklahoma City. Arrangements made by Eisenhour Funeral Home, Blanchard.
