The Guest Book is expired.

Zella Mae Moore, age 86, passed away Wednesday, March 23, 2011. She was born December 6, 1924 to Harvey Alcorn and Beulah Oaks Alcorn in Bentonville, Arkansas. The family moved to Bethany, OK, where she spent her formative years and attended the Nazarene Church. She graduated from Bethany HS in 1943 and was active in planning and attending her HS reunions at every opportunity throughout her life. She worked as a secretary, until she married the love of her life, Earl L. Moore, on August 6, 1948. They enjoyed 39 years of marriage until his death in 1987. They made their home in Bethany and later at Ski Island Lake and enjoyed vacation homes in Red River, NM, and Pharr, TX. Earl and Zella both were "Sooner Fans" extraordinaire. They never missed a home game and traveled extensively to away and bowl games. They were also members of The Greens Country Club, where they enjoyed golfing. Zella also loved attending her granddaughters' softball and basketball games from the T-ball years through college. Zella was truly unique with her opinions, quick wit, and sense of humor, and will be missed by all. Zella was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her parents, Harvey and Beulah Alcorn; brother, William Alcorn; and sister, Marjorie Laird. She is survived by daughter, Vickie Cotton, and husband, Craig, OKC; granddaughters: Shannon Keever and husband, Ryan, Edmond, OK; Erin Ledesma and husband, Orion, Edmond, OK; Caitlin Cotton, Colorado Springs, CO; great-grandson, Ozzy Ledesma, Edmond, OK; beloved nieces and nephews: Joe David Laird, OKC; Otis and Nancy Snider, OKC; R.W. and Pat Sullivan, Sun City, CA; M.E., Jr. "Butch" and Barbara Moore, OKC; Leroy and Carolyn Potter, OKC; Steven and Dianna Woolley, Walla Walla, WA; J.
