Kevin Lee Rollin, born October 8, 1953 in Kansas City, KS, went to Heaven to be with the Lord on April 15, 2011. Kevin served his country in the Army National Guard's 45th Infantry Division and then went on to teach high school English for 34 years. He spent 15 years at Ninnekah, where he coached baseball, and he was at Westmoore for the past 19 years, helping out with the girls golf team. Even after he completed his master's degree in Education Administration at UCO, he continued on in his true passion -- the classroom. Music was also a big part of life for K.R., and he began singing and playing drums professionally at the age of 13. He basically loved anything to do with music, golf, and making people laugh. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Walter H. Rollin. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Betty Rollin; their four loving dogs, Simon, Bandit, Palmer, and Toby; his mother, Bonnie Rollin; his sister, Walta Rollin, and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please contribute to your favorite charity. Services will be conducted by Ford Funeral Service at 2:00pm, Wednesday, April 20th, at First Christian Church of Midwest City, E. Reno and Anderson Rd. Also on Wednesday, a memorial/celebration of his life will be held at 7:00pm in the Westmoore High School auditorium, 12613 S. Western. Betty gives special thanks to their niece, Carlee Steele, for her vigilance and loving care during this difficult time.
