August 30, 1923 - July 11, 2012 WOODWARD Norman Lynn Wildman 88 passed away on July 11, 2012 in Woodward, OK. Funeral Services will be in the Redinger Funeral Chapel at Seiling, OK, on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 12 noon.He was born August 30, 1923 Vici, OK to Norm and Eura Wildman and married Evelyn Tribbey on March 7, 1943. He attended Phillips Univ. in Enid, OK. Employed by the Federal Government 1950-1962 as an electronic technician at the White Sands Missile Range at Las Cruces, NM on the Research and Development phase of the guided missile program; Clinton-Sherman Air Force Base in OK 1962-1970 as a Project Engineer; Davis-Monthan Air Force Base at Tucson, AZ 1970-l978 as the senior engineer on the Titan 2 Ballistic Missile System; retired in 1978 to Woodward, OK. Member of the First Christian Church, Woodward Masonic Lodge, a York Rite and 32nd Degree Mason with the Scottish Rite and the Order of Eastern Star. Lynn loved to hunt, fish, authored and published 16 western fictional novels. Surviving are two daughters, Cheryl and Mike Martin of Okla. City and Carole and John Froage of Gage; one son, Craig and LaDonna Wildman of Custer City; one sister, Louise Ickes of Claremore; six grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him.
