July 27, 1928 - Nov 9, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Selma Chesnut Norris, 84, passed away Nov. 9, 2012. Selma was born in Copeland, KS to Lloyd and Bertha (Odneal) Chesnut. She was a faithful member of Capitol Hill Church of God. Selma was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, who dedicated her life to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill L. Norris; son, Eldon; sister, Barbara Evans; and brother, Eddie Chesnut. Selma is survived by sons, Billy Lee, Jr. and wife Bridgette, Kevin, Kent and partner Larry, Vann and wife Kelley; 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with family to receive friends 6-8 p.m. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel.
