June 16, 1921 - Nov 8, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Frank Nelson Pierce, 91, passed away on November 8, 2012. He was born June 16, 1921, to Isaac Franklin & Nora Etta Daniel Pierce in Megargel, TX. Frank served in Europe with the 114th and 71st Anti-Aircraft Artillery during World War II and worked at the Union Bus Station in Oklahoma City and Viking Motor Freight in Tulsa after returning. He joined T.I.M.E.-DC Motor Freight in Lubbock, TX and remained with them for 23 years before retiring in 1982. Frank was a Mason for over 50 years and was a member of Amity Lodge #473. Frank was married for 57 years to Dorothy Canada Pierce, who preceded him in death in 2003. He is survived by a sister, Dollie Mae Brown; a daughter, Nikki Winters; a son, Scott Dustin Pierce and his wife Gwenell; three grandsons and their families: Michael and Addie Winters and their children, Nathan, Brynn, Ainsley and Teagun; Brek Winters and his son, Garrett; and Brian and Mandy Winters and their son, Bradyn. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Clyde, Carl, Ervin, Thurman Kirkendall and Claude Kent, Leon and Marvin; and sisters, Iva Loftin, Avis Hawkins and Lavo Huffman. Dependable, rock-solid and always there for his family, he will be greatly missed. If you didn't ever meet him, you missed out ... Funeral Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2012, at the Advantage South Chapel, with burial following at Moore City Cemetery.
