March 1, 1916 - Dec 21, 2012 OKLAHOMA CITY Agnes Lucille Brabits, 96, passed away peacefully on December 21st in OKC. She was born March 1, 1916, in Duncan, OK, one of eight children of William & Barbara Hine. She was a grandniece of the founder of Duncan, OK, William Duncan. She was preceded in death by husbands, William C. Brabits Sr. and John W. Brabits; and all of her siblings; as well as grandchildren, Jack Jr. and Bambi Lynn Collette Triche. Lucille moved to OKC in 1933 with husband, William C., where they started several businesses. She continued to work in a co-owned business, B&B Tackle Co., until retirement at age 84 in 2000. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, gardening and working in her yard. She is survived by two sons: William C. Jr. & wife Sylvia, of Longview, TX; and Jack D. Brabits & wife Vicki, of OKC; two grandchildren, Wade and Wess Brabits; two step-grandchildren, Hurst J. Bousegard JR. and Jeff Cadwell; three great-grandchildren, Katelyn, Chase and Taylor Brabits; three step-great-grandchildren, Clara, Roscoe and Alice Cadwell; along with numerous nieces and nephews. These children called her "Granny," and she loved to be around them because she was "young-at-heart." She will be greatly missed but will always in our hearts, and her indomitable spirit will be with us always. Family requests consideration to donate to the
