CroffordDecember 10, 1922 - January 9, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY James Max "Pete" Crofford, Jr. passed away January 9, 2013 at the age of 90. He was born in Cement, OK on December 10, 1922 to James Max and Floye Jeannette Treadwell Crofford. James attended Northeast High School where he played football and basketball. He graduated in 1941. He joined the U.S. Navy and served in WWII. James worked for Sun Oil Company for 39 years and retired in 1984. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving him are his wife of 61 years, Margaret Potts Crofford, daughters, Jean Inglish and husband Tom of OKC, Lu Crofford of OKC, Ardyth Ramsey of Spring, TX and son, James Max Crofford, III and wife Kay of Mustang, OK, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. James is preceded in death by grandson Ricky Malone and sister Jeannette Bossert. In lieu of flowers the family is suggesting donations be made in James' name to the
