Jan 4, 1955 - Jan 17, 2013 OKLAHOMA CITY Billy Joel Neal, born Jan. 4, 1955, passed Jan. 17, 2013, to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, to be reunited after a very long six-year wait with his wife of 25 years, Georgianna Sue Neal. Together, they have five children: Angela Brantley and husband David Brantley, of Gracemont; son, Allen Neal, of Binger; daughter, Gladys Harris and husband Ian Christian, of OKC; son, Billy Gene Neal, of OKC; and Matthew Neal, of OKC; five grandchildren, Tabitha Neal, Shelbi Mann, Donovan Brantley, Austin Harris, and Cayla Harris; and one great-granddaughter, Addisen Pedersen. Dad had many passions, playing poker with Shelbi being his banker, painting, going to the casino and playing slots with his kids and sister, Sue. Billy prayed that he would win the lottery and not all of it, just enough for them. He would say he loved having family dinners and always wanted them to be homemade. He was thankful for a lot and let the Lord know it. Billy enjoyed talking to his brother, Randy; he had a high respect for him and could always count on him when he needed him the most; Randy was always there without judgment. He loved to drink and had lots of drinking buddies through the years; when you look at him, you see a happy man that mourned for his wife and was ready to leave this world behind. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to meet him. Alcoholism cut his life short; what many of us don't understand is they are still human and have feelings. We sometimes forget how easy it is to hurt them. Billy hated arguing or hatefulness to be around him. He did a great job of raising his family and tried his best to keep his family together. We should all go on a new journey to think before we speak and be more cautious of others feelings.
