Johnson II May 2, 1931 - Jan 20, 2013 PIEDMONT John "Jack" E. Johnson II went to be with his Lord on January 20, 2013. He joined his loving wife, Carole, only three weeks after her death in December. John Edwin Johnson was born in his childhood home in Colfax, WI on May 2, 1931. He married Mary Jean Burton on April 16, 1949, in Minneapolis, and they had four children. Jean went home to be with the Lord in 1967. He then married Carole Edmonds in 1968, and they combined their two families, adopting each other's children to become one big family of 13. In 1971, he sold the family farm and moved the family to Bethany, OK, where he bought his own business. His career was spent in the auto mechanic field working not only for himself but for an area dealership and most recently, had various positions with Rent-A-Crane. He was very involved in Piedmont Church of the Nazarene, where they were charter members. Over the years, he led music and sang faithfully in many of the services. He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He is survived by 11 children and spouses, three sisters, 32 grandchildren, and 46 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 25 at Western Oaks Church of the Nazarene.
