(Stamp) Pitt Oct. 28, 1922 - Jan. 27, 2013 WARR ACRES Patricia Mary Stamp Pitt "Paddy" age 90, of Warr Acres, died Sunday January 27, 2013 in her home. She was born in Cadishead, Lancashire, England, October 28, 1922. Paddy grew up in Warrington, England and attended St. Mary's School and Church. She met her beloved John "Jack" while working at Burtonwood Airbase during World War II. They were married September 2, 1944. She came to America in 1949 to join John who had arrived in 1948. She traveled on the Queen Mary with their two sons and her mother-in-law. Paddy or "Granpaddy" as she is known by her grandchildren, is preceded in death by her husband John, her sons Phillip and Michael and her daughter Bridget. She is survived by her children John and wife Mieko, Phillip's widow Kathy, Hilary and husband Nicandro Montoya, Kevin, Maggie, Jane and husband Lyndell Mitchell and Tim; grandchildren, Christian, Joshua, Mariah, Laura, Beniah, Jeremiah, Dillon, Catherine, Grace, Taishu, Berkley, Sean, Baxter and Jackson; and seven great-grandchildren, Tristan, Freya, Zack, Madelyn, Luke, Hudson, and Henley. She is also survived by her brothers Mike and wife Jean, Brian and wife Yvette, and her sister Ann and husband Gordon Ashurst. A Rosary will be held at 8 PM Wednesday, January 30 at St. Charles Borromeo. The Funeral Mass will be held at 2 PM Thursday, January 31 at St. Charles Borromeo located at 5024 N. Grove, Warr Acres. Interment to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, OK.
